How much is EMS with the wideband set up? I'm seeing prices towards $2000?? Plus you'll need a MAP, IAT, boost controller solinoid. That's another $250. DSMLink, an eprom, GM MAP, and PLX cost half of that and even with V2 are getting a grip of people on the DSMLink Forum into the 550whp numbers and even into single digit ETs. What's your HP goal?

For some reason, I had it in my head that EMS was like $1300, not over $2k.

ok here is the thing there is no way in hell i will go with a gm MAF,, My biggest concert is the maft, I want a sensor I can use for tuning, not a sensor that has to be tuned before tuning.. I like to eliminate as many variables as possible...

I talked to JNZ a while back and they can get me EMS for 1500,, a 3bar map is no biggy I can get that on e-bay for 50 shipped

EMS IS A WIDEBAND SETUP,,,, It comes w/ the sensor,,, and is a controller,,, straight out of the box it immediatly start adjusting fuel based off of the wideband.

so that puts me at about 1700,, but you failed to mention the cost of the GM MAF and MAFT,,, and at this point Im not going to wait on V3 or buy V2 based on what could be mere smoke blown up our asses by you.. Not saying you are but for all i know....

In my case I have Rod's, Pistons, and Cams, all installed and running... and I also have an extra boost controller solinoid,, besides DSM Link isnt even going to for sure include boost controller under what you were saying....

Lets compare apples to apples here!

FYI EMS Claims to utilize all factory sensors out of the box or use theirs or other sensors.

EMS is far superior as far as flexibility and speed and features

However DSM Link is a specialized product for our cars. so that has its advantages...

As far as my HP goals go?!? that pretty much depends on at what point I feel happy w/ my power,,, Probably squeez every ounce of power out of 91 will be good + whatever extra I get on Race fuel....... If i could ever afford everything and learn to drive right I would love to hit 9.99 in 1/4, but that will be track car only,,, realisticly still driving it daily I would like to see low 11's to high 10's

God, you sound dumber every time you post. Blowing smoke up your ass? Yep, I've got plenty of reasons to lie about a product I have nothing to do with and don't even use anymore.

So let's compair apples to apples here!

How is EMS superior and more flexible? Because Ben told you it is? Because it costs more? Because AEM tells you it is on the box? I know why it's more flexible but I also think that flexibility isn't going to net you or any other moderatly powered DSM any real gains worth the money over DSMLink. You've been telling me I'm wrong but with no explination.

What are the advantages of DSMLink being that it's DSM specific?

Is it possible to get a SIMPLE straight answer out of you without a rambling, incoherant post??

Edit: Found the WB02 info I was looking for. It doesn't just come with a WB02, it's an option that adds an additional $300+.

Ladies ladies come on now. :D

I don't think that there is anything wrong with DSM link or AEM EMS but honestly you can't pass the DSM link for it's buck it's like comparing Jessica Simpson to a cheap hore in a hotel room can't have Jessica but hore will do. :D
