    Default quick tuning question..

ok so i have my new 1g eagle talon and it already came w/ an s-afc..now everyone tells me i have to have a logger..will someone give me a quick overview about loggers..it's basically a program on a pda that tells you all the info you need like how many counts of knock you are getting and everything right??? and i was looking on dsmtuners.com and it says pocketlogger is $155 but pda not included, well i have a treo 600..will that work? it's a pda, it just happens to be my cell phone too..and how do you hook the pda up to your car to get the info you need?? or am i just completely lost on this whole thing...someone please just explain to me what a logger is exactly and how i hook it up and use it w/ my s-afc..i'm no idiot so i'm sure once someone can point me in the right direction i'll be good to go..thanks guys...i really want to get to the track asap and time this beast..i just won't chance it untuned

You purchase the Pocketlogger package which includes the cables to plug it into your car and the software which they email to you and you load. The cables connect from your PDA to your OBDI. Simply plugs into that. It will show and record knock and all sorts of other things as well. More info can be found here

Just get a palm m125 or something similar, they're cheap, color, and just about everything you need works on them.
