    Default Okay... hmmm... tuning... yea...

So, I have a 95 GSX, as most of you are aware. I'm slowly putting it together. In my signature is a link to the specs. I've got a 14b and Starion frontmount on the way as soon as I get paid next week. Hoping to get the rest of my parts together and start getting this running.

Here's the problem - I have a lot of learned knowledge from reading about these cars, and working on other cars over the years, but when it comes to tuning, I've had absolutely ZERO hands on experience with anything that doesn't have a distributor and carburator (old muscle cars). I plan on getting DSMLink, but most likely won't be able to do that until after March or April, at the soonest. In the mean time, I have a MAFT and am going to be running stock injectors for a while longer, so I'm not really looking to make gobs of power... yet.

Can I tune my car to run with this setup at all? Maybe not to make power, but just to run okay? Or do I need something else to make the car run until I get my DSMLink?
    Mods:

    FMIC/14b turbo
    3" GM MAF with translator
    Stainless brake and clutch lines
eibach springs, 2" drop, camber kit

You'll need to buy or borrow a logger but, yeah you can get it running right with just the MAFT, no problem. You don't even have injectors to worry about according to your sig link.

Check out the tacked link with tuning tips. There's some stuff you can read through to get a handle on the basics.

Yea, hopefully injectors and dsmlink will come around the same time. Also, I have a Palm m125, all I really need is a logger cable and some software...

The M125 works good with DSMlink, I used that one for a while then got a good deal on the M130 that's just the same thing but color.

Really? That's good to know. At least if I can't get the apple to work, I have something that will run DSMLink :-) SWEET!
