Default Sac Raceway Wed. Mar. 16th

Anyone planning on heading out to Sac Raceway tomarrow afternoon? I'm finally getting some time off from college and plan to be out there by 4:30 p.m. sharp! I haven't taken my talon out to the track yet, and since it seems to be in a good mood these past few days, I really want to see a timeslip. :P
It would be nice to see some more Dsmer's show up this time! Let me know if any of you are planning to be out there...

I wanted to take the daytona out, but I blew it up too... well... not really, just fragged the flexplate (I think, motor's coming out tomorrow) so definately won't be able to this week... but would be cool... should have a monthly DSM meet at the track (not that I've showed up for any of the taco bell meets, but I work half the saturdays anyway :P )

That's the most annoying thing when you're only able to get a couple of runs in because someone leaked or blew something on the track.

A buddy of mine was squirting water on his intercooler and a few drops driped from it when he was at the starting line. He got yelled at and kicked out quick!

Sooooo  just got back to Davis from Sac Raceway... very interesting night.... I HATE FWD :!:  :!:
I couldn't launch my car for sh!t! Really, I suck! My first couple runs were horrible... just spined my tires all the way through first gear barely getting off the starting line. Anyways as the night went on, launches got better and my best time was 15.04....!!!! so close to breaking into 14's... laugh all you want. Refer to my mods list if you're asking yourself why his car is so slow. On the good side... I got 7 runs in! I dialed in at 15.0 and got closer and closer to my dial in time with each run. I was in the last handful of cars still running at around 9:45p.m. cause everyone else was eliminated and left by then. It was fun... :D

What was even more fun was the race I got into over the Sunrise bridge on the way to Sac Raceway!

What WASN'T fun was my boost totally tripping out at the track on all my runs!http://sacramento-dsm.com/viewtopic.php?p=1899#1899

Post up one of your 15.0 timeslips. I'd like to know what you trapped at and what your 60' was on that run. If your getting a 15.0@89mph I would think you got good driving skills, just car issues...If your getting a 15.0@100mph then you got a fast car you just gotta work on your driving skills. Since your a fwd, I think you should careless about your 1/4 time and just look at your trap speeds. That will be the ultimate determination on fwds if your fast or not. I think Tony got like a 14.5 @ 125mph....uh can you say major highway ownage?!
