Any shows/events in Nor Cal in the next couple months?

Hey guys, I may be going to FormulaD next weekend, but hate driving to freakin' LA. HATE HATE HATE!
Anyone know of any decent events up closer this direction? I totally missed out on HIN, had some media passes all lined up too, just got busy and forgot. Pisses me off that I did, but what can you do?

If any of you know, or know of a site with a good breakdown of events in Cali, drop me a line please.

Hmm..Never heard of Formula D.

BUT October 28-29 is Battle of the Imports in the Bakersfield area.

FAMOSO RACEWAY
33559 FAMOSO ROAD
MCFARLAND, CA 93250

It includes a day of drag racing (saturday), and sunday is car show and model swimsuit competition(!). It's the last BOTI of the year so it should be big. It is still a hefty 4.5 hour drive from Sac, but its a nice 2 day event.

Formula D is a drift event. Battle of the imports sounds interesting, Bakersfield isn't TOO out of the way for me, being in Hollister, its only about 1 1/2 hours away. lol, Maybe I'll go, thanks! :)

They had an event up in vallejo, just have to find out now if they are having anything else this year...

not really near nor-cal, but dont forget about SEMA coming up. I'm trying to decide if I want to go to sema or battle of the imports, but im leaning towards sema

Had almost forgotten about SEMA. Sorry to hear about the accident, glad you didn't get TOO hurt. My brother had an airbag deploy in a neon that knocked him out for a good hour. Also glad to see that the car didn't take TOO much damage.
