    Default Scoob Ran 11.989 @ 119.089

    So I was pretty happy with the overall result.. The temps were cooling and the car was really coming around.. I really just spent the night focusing on my 60'.. Its been something like 3 or 4 years since I last took an AWD car down the track..

    First run I just botched the launch and under-estimated my traction - came off the clutch a little too quick and bogged it.. Second and third runs i ran almost dead consistant on the 60' 1.865-4.. The first three passes were almost back to back.. The last pass took about a while before I was up - so air temps had dropped and i figured I could get a little more aggressive with the launch coming off the clutch.. Paid off with a 1.775 60'... I figure without being too abusive Mid 1.7x's are about right for the car.. On that run I actually bounced off the limiter in second before hitting third.. Lost about a half a mph from the previous run.. But I said as soon as I snag anything of the 11.9999999x flavor I was parking it.. And I did with a smile..

    Thanks to Paul and Adam over at DBTuned in Roseville for letting me get the thing dialed in on that mustang.. As close as the tune was on the dyno - it just slotted right perfect on the street with a little less load.. I was so confident in the tune that I didn't even bring a laptop to the track..

    Not bad for an ultra low-budget, full weight, station wagon.. It probably has maybe another tenth left in it the way it sits..

    Tks - OH, and I also want to take this opportunity to tell Derek and his former "52 lb/min" 12.3 second holset HX-69-420 to suck on my 47 lb/min knob!!

    Negative, bone stock 2.0l. When I pop the 2.0 I will build a hybrid.

    Stock exhaust manifold, stock intake manifold with TGV valves untouched and intact..

    Full weight with a center console full of about 10 lbs in change, cans of rockstar and a fire extinguisher bouncing around in the rear passenger floorboard..

    * edit - And a 6' 7" 320lb driver..

    The 68HTA is no joke. On the dyno It was hitting full boost at 3100 rpm.

    Not only that, but the 2g DSM head outflows the Subaru 2.0 heads by a lot..

    If i deleted the TGV's, added a tubular or EL exhaust mani I'd probably pick up another 20-30 hp.

    Lookup subaru TGV.. They suck and are pointless airflow restrictions..

    Honestly, as it sat, the car probably had another 10th in it.. If i bolted on a few more parts and did a bit of porting here and there I could probably nail solid 11.7 passes.. Although I would probably run outta fuel and have to upgrade injectors too.. And at that point Id also have to add a bosch 044 inline and an aftermarket AFPR.

    But I'm happy the way it sits.. A completely full weight, daily grocery getter than can scrape 11's..

    I didnt even air down the tires.. All Seasons with 40 lbs of air in them.. :) I wanted the car exactly in street trim..

    I know after we switched to e85 from pump/meth that made a huge difference in power.
