I have a 1g awd with a blow thru 3inch gm mas w/maft,fmic,wabro 255lph, fpr,and now manny's old to4e setup. I finally got my car back together todaY and i can' rev past 5000 and the boost gauge says i have 10psi but it doesn't feel like it . I have had fuel pressure problumes before but i thought that was solved i am questioning that now. i tried all day today at work to get it to run good enough to drive it, but i can't . Ihave a wideband but i dont have the bung in yet so i no longer have my logger (stolen) and I dont have a fuel pssure gauge on this car any more(the one I used before was borrowed). I have tried to tune the maft good enogh to get me down the road but no go so now my car is in my bay at work again and it is driving me insane! please if any one has a fuel pressure gauge that they want to sell or knows were i can get one in town tomarrow that i can bolt on a stock rail i will buy it just to eliminate that question from my mind, also because i know you are all think ing it right now I have looked for boost leaks but seen none so if anyone has a boost detecter for sale or knows were i can buy one in town pleaases let me know(it needs to be for 3inch turbo inlet)

You're really not going to "see" a boost leak unless it's just massive. That's the first step in trouble shooting something like this. You probably know that, but I wouldn't mess with too much more until you have all boost leaks fixed.

You'll also need some sort of logger if you're trying to use the MAFT. That thing is just a piece of shit and you need to moniter your trims and airflow in order to get it working right. Even if you set it to the settings the instructions recommend, it's probably still WAY off.

Sorry, not what you wanted to hear but that's where you have to start.

Ia have a 3 inch tester if you have the 3 to 3 coupler.

you also really need to get a FP gauge on there to set your base pressure. you cant half ass stuff like that and throw a big turbo on and expect to go fast. parts is only half the equation. tuning is what makes a fast, reliable car.

I did not half ass anything my old set up blew so i had no car i had to put some thing together to drive my car .I also didnt just throw a huge turbo on there and expect anything i had a t61 before I down graded because of a bad turbo. It tuned via wide band and pocket logger before now and it ran just fine but now it just wont rev. even at idel it wont rev past 5000. so dont think I just throw this stuff together and expected it to "go fast" I am trying to get my car running again and I have hit a wall in doing that and am asking for help

Help isn't what you need. You need a logger and a bung for that WB02 and it sounds like you can figure it out from there.

Sounds to me like its running fat (rich). Can you slowly climb the rpms in neutral past 5k (closed loop)? What's your curret fuel pressure set at? Check your spark plugs, I'm sure they are dark. Are you running a non-chipped dsm? If so, ur Maft settings 'should' be all over the place and your fuel curves will be ass-shaped. What are your O2 voltages on the logger at 5k? What size injectors are you running now, Chris?

well I did not have any boost leaks or anything like that. It was just that #@$%! maft giving me all that trouble. I got a new afpr installed a fuel pressure gauge and put in my wide band and drove down the street to find out i was running 8.7/1 @wot above 3200rpm . So I dug up my old hks super afr reinstalled it and tunned it good enough that it drive and runs fine now.

I love it when spam users login and try to use the websites popularity to advertise their website, especially when google and yahoo crawl the page. Instead of deleteing or banning the spammer, I just delete their web link in their profile, and keep the user stats for the site up :) I should be thanking them really.
