Default Help my O2 has fallen and it cant get up!

My EGT are sitting in the 1400 range at full temp so I know im running rich.
My Gas Mileage is total crap so I know I'm running rich.
My idle is retarded like I'm running rich.

Survey says new O2 if for no other reason then to eliminate it as the cause

I know my engine builder would help me with this because hes just plain awesome but hes also in San Pablo and I have bothered him enough for now. Would be cheaper all around to buy a 60 dollar O2 and do it myself.

Now my question, anyone in Sac area know how to replace it? I am a bench racer extrodinare with the applied knowledge of a retarded spider monkey on valium.

Anyone help for beer and pizza?

yea the bosch won't work unless you wanna try to splice the wires to your exsisting connector and hopefully get them right....

www.oxygensensors.com has them for $80 plus like $5 for shipping and they bolt in perfectly (that is coming from experience)

or you can go get raped my mitsu which is what everyone else is gonna tell you to do

There's always one dumbass that "thinks" he knows what he's talking about.....

The bosch universal is exactly that, UNIVERSAL. It DOESN'T bolt right up if thats what you want to do. There's two problems with the bosch "universal". First off, the wires on the bosch aren't long enough to reach from the clip (on top of the tranny) to the o2 housing. Second, the clip doesn't work, so you'll have to cut and splice into your existing o2 clip/harness. The bosch has 2 of the same color wire (black i believe...) so you'd have to guess at which goes where...to much of a PITA if you ask me....

Easiest solution? Pay the $90 and stop being a cheap bastard.... :P

Check your ego at the door, Boostdork was asking if the Bosch worked or not. It being a Universal, it WILL work. Just because it's "too much work for you" doesn't give you a right to call other members a dumbass, ESPECIALLY if Matias has installed it and has personal experience with the item you have 0 experience with. I can understand good arguments, or namecalling in the name of good humor, but your just leaving a bad taste in everyones mouth with that crap.
