    Default more problems

I'm trading my car in still, but the clutch went out along with the master cylinder so im out $1200, I also have smoke coming from underneath my car so i decide to drive it to the dealership because i have just had it with this pos, so on the way there a loud clicking starts coming from underneath my hood. the faster i go the louder and faster it gets, i look at my temp gauge and its overheating, so im asuming my water pump went out again, after only being in for about 14 months. Does this sound about right? or does this sound like a lifter or something. Oh and the car started sputtering and not going when driving now. So you can see why I have had it with this car !!!!!!!!! :x  :x  :x

no its because youre stupid and bought someone elses problems. do not blame it on the car, its not its fault the guy before it beat it to death. if i saw a car with 720cc injectors, and a buttload of other crap already on and a measly b16g, id instantly know it had something way bigger and was raced like a mofo. in other words, id stay far far away.

and how does a clutch and a master cylinder cost 1200? clutch+instal was like 550 total for me, and installing a master cylinder shouldnt cost much more since the tranny is already out. this is why people dont take their cars to the stealership. they dont know crap and charge 4x the amount of what the work is worth.

Holy shit man! Sorry to hear, that's the worst DSM luck I've ever heard :(

I think the water pump sounds like the culprate. Nothing visible under the hood like a seperated crank pulley or broken belt?

Buying a used car is always buying someone else's problems, yet I wouldn't go as far as calling him stupid. That car has a great deal of problems :( Good luck in fixing it though.

Easy on the name calling unless you know each other personally Yeah i'm guessing it was beat on by the previous owner if you're coming up with this many issues...I'd say just learn how to fix the problem yourself. Save money this way and expand your car knowledge. After all, you can't make any car fast without knowing how to fix it. End of story. It's going to be pure hell if you have to take the VR4 you plan to get to the dealer each time something arraises. And working on that platform of V6TT is just stupid difficult. I personally think you'd save money in the long run with this car and have an easier time learning how to modify and repair a car the right way. Just my .02 and now I'm broke.

Guy at the dealership says he can find me a 3kgt but vr-4 might be a few months to find, and they would have to throw the negative equity on top of that, which came to about $3500, maybe i'll just tell him to get me a gsx or something.
