Default I need some help with my car.

Question? Does anyone know of a shop in Northern California that specializes in Imports. I got to California about 1 year ago and have not touched my Eclipse then. I have a brand new Slowboy block sitting here and I need some one to help me find a shop that will touch it. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have my car at a shop right now but Im not sure if i want them to work on it.

    Thanks,

what up man. should just install yourself and save money. but other than that, i'm starting not to trust any shops in the area unless you maybe call Jonathan at M&S.

I would do it myself but im lacking tools. If Ive done just about everything on my car myself back in North Dakota where I had access to a shop and tools but in Cali i dont really have that. If someone know of anyone that does them out of their garage that would be find. I just need to get this car running again.

I wouldn't trust any shops around modesto, like my clutch slipping problem, I took my car to AAMCO and they told me they would find the problem for 39.99 so I say ok, i give them my clutch i got from summit ($150), and said if it needs to be replaced go ahead and do it. They said ok, so far i'm up to 500 for the install, I get a call later that day and they tell me the master cylinder was bad and the engagement on the cutch was waaaayy too low so they adjusted it, i said umm ok theres another $275 for parts and labor, they call me up today and tell me the the clutch dosen't fit ! ! ! They tell me it will be another $200 for the clutch! All for a car THAT WILL BE TRADED IN ANYWAY!

That would be sweet. Im all done with the service now. It just sucks not having my Eclipse to drive I would love to meet up with everyone and do the meets but the eclipse has been down since I got out. On my ride home is where it all went south. Everyone is scared to touch it because the mods on it so it sucks.

Yeah man.. I hear you. But I am sure thats def an option. I would say lets get together to do it here at my house, but I don't have the right tools either. And the hobby shops on base's have freakin everything.
