    Default valve cover stuck wtf?

    today i decided to repaint my valve cover since the other day i dropped a wrench on it and chipped the old gunmetal paint... anyways, i took out all the bolts and went to pull it off..........NOPE! wont budge

    i yanked and yanked, it just rocks the whole car with it

    anyone know of a way i can get it off safely???

    Remove all of the bolts? You sure you didnt miss any on the inside?

    A flat head screw driver and some patience is what worked for me.

    If you scratch the block while removing the valve cover, you better slap yourself lol

    LOL wow...i just re-read what i wrote earlier, guess i'm kinda out of it today or something.... :roll: you know what i meant though...don't mess up the head....

    I had the same problem when I did mine two weeks ago, I was pulling away and nothing. But ya, a screwdriver will do just fine I just barely put the screwdriver in and kinda wiggled it around the valve cover till I could pull it off. Good luck.
