Default 97 eclipse spyder ISC or IAC !!!WTF!!!

Im new to this forum ,So please excuse my noobness. Before any one begins to flame ,Yes I have searched..
My friend just purchased a 1997 Eclipse Spyder 2.4l 4g64.
It is experiencing some missfiring when Idling only.check engine light is off.No codes WTH??Anyways I replaced fuel filter ,and installed new oem plugs along with new wire set.I inspected fuel pump .I remooved throttle body and cleaned a bunch of carbon build up behind throttle plate.Made sure all air passages were free of carbon.I even inspected and cleaned EGR valve(EGR stays closed at Idle) along with intake passages. It runs better ,but still ,it stumbles lightly and does not die on me.Im thinking it has a bad computer ,Cause It doesnt set a code and My Scanner gets error message when I plug it in.

I have found a DIY rebuild on ISC on this forum ,but it applies to different Type of ISC.I mean ,the ISC that is on my buddys car is completely diferent. Its located on bottom of Throttle body. The car runs great off idle ,No misfire what so ever mid to WOT.If any one can direct me to an Eclipse 4g64 driveability FSM.Yes, ive searched this one is not listed. Can any one help? thankss..
PS my buddys ISC looks like this http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=59-0

It is more than likley not the computer... So don't just throw parts at it. Check your coils, ignition timing, fuel pressure, CAM TIMING, compression, vacuum leaks, exhuast leaks before the O2, verify O2 functionality, check air filter, verify the TPS voltage & throttle closed switch. You could have the injectors cleaned $20-$25 a piece.
That is the bulk of the easy things to check, after that you need tools to check sensors and other computer devices
