    have you flushed the coolant?

really you should flush it like 3 times if it never has been done. mine was really bad when i first put on the FMIC

    keep the stock fans too

once its flushed i would run 70% distiled water 30% antifreeze. and a bottle of water wetter.

have you replaced the Thermostat and Radiator cap yet? i would replace those too

Napa sells a 170 temp one for $20, Chris is using one and helped mine out alot i guess, and autozone sells the standard 180 temp Thermostats.

gonna need a better rad and/or more airflow to the radiator.

welcome to life after installing a FMIC.
