And i thought i was goin to be different... i went to an old friend who runs a smog station in carmichael. I was gonna fix all the idle issues and what knot first but went ahead with smog anyway. Passed everything at 15mph, to my surprise, but failed HC's and CO's at 25mph. Hydrocarbons max is 37 and i got 71, Carbonmonoxide is .47 and i got 1.07. The guy said i need to change my SP wires and o2 sensor for it to pass, i dont know if i should mess with the idle issue for now or just do what he says?

Extremepsi.com got OEM O2 sensors,or just go to dealer :D

:cry: not really, lol. Well i just paid some muffler place like 500 to get brand new cat and o2 and swap it in. Damn, hate efin smog. :evil:

..didnt mean to hurt your feelings. All this smogging stuff is because we live in the valley and air here just stays.

yeah valley air is the worst. we get bay areas smog blown over here, and it stays here because it cant be blown over the mountains. so its nearly impossble to reach air quality. 2010 diesels will get smogged also. not a sniffer on them but i believe monitoring systems check.
