    Default Missing 1st and 2nd

    So, I was out test driving my eclipse a bit today, and I shifted from 1st to 2nd, but instead of shifting, it grinded a tad, and refused to go in. Now it won't go in 1st or 2nd. The rest of the gears work fine. Please tell me that adjusting my linkage is all that I've got to worry about (I have a feeling the tranny's going to be coming out though :evil: )
    Mods:

    Walboro 255/PTE 680cc injectors
    FMIC/14b turbo
    3" GM MAF with translator
    Stainless brake and clutch lines
    eibach springs, 2" drop, camber kit

    Well, after some fighting, I've gotten it to go into 1st, still no 2nd... I was sorta afraid of that. The tranny fluid that came out when I changed it was pretty gross. Sooo.... suggestions for a rebuild? Is there a kit anywhere, or would I need to order the parts from mitsu direct?

    while you're rebuilding it, upgrade that 2nd gear synchro.....

    Yea, I emailed shepracing to find out about parts... if'n I'm going to rebuild it, might as well get the good parts so I don't have to do it again. I was still getting the base settings worked out on the maft. *sigh* at least I got to drive it a little (some 40 miles) before it broke. Anyway, when I drained the old trans fluid, it was pretty burnt smelling, so I had a bad feeling... hoped the red line would save me for a while. Guess not.

    So, anyway... where can I go for parts if I can't afford shep's prices (I certainly can't afford his rebuild prices... )
