Default no spark from #4 on coil

my 95 eclipse non turbo started missing on me after I came out of the store on my way home from work. I did the ohm test and the primary circuit is reading around 8-9 (over by 2 ohms as per chilton). The secondary circuit ohm test is spot on. going to pick up a coil from m&S on saturday. My question is: could there be anything else that would cause this? don't really want to go get the part come home and have the same problem, been there and did that way to often!

Chances are it could be one of three things,

    Your coil is bad,

or your crank sensor, the one in the rear lower section of the block

    or your ECU is junk,

Its a 95 N/T and M&S sells TONS of those parts, start with the coil first

they don't have those ECU's they are about $600 for a factory reman unit

well, it's fixed. It was just the coil.
