My car has done this ever since I first got it in stock condition. When idling if I quickly hit the throttle there is a second or so delay before the rpms come up. When watching my boost gauge the needle rises instantly from where it sits at vacuum to the zero range, then the rpms follow. Basically the needle moves at the same time that the throttle does then the rpms follow suit.
I have been told before this may be related to a boost leak but the last check I did it held 18psi. Any ideas?
