    Default no response, no power

ok as most of you know, i got the awd to start, and kind of move under its own power... here's the problem

    1. finicy idle, could be tb/ecu/anything

    2. when i rev it there is almost no throttle response, it stutters then revs slowly

    3. when i drive it, it makes 10 psi but pulls like the car has 3hp, and backfires from being insanely rich
i also cant even get the pipes to pressurize with a bike pump with my boost leak tester and ive gone over the whole piping system multiple times

any input? it would be much appreciated

are you running a 1g CAS on a 2g ECU?
did you check your spark plugs and wires?
sounds like you need to clean out the throttle body, check your wires/plugs, your cat could be clogged (the stuttering), possible misfire (check the order of your wires).

check those out and we'll go from there.

coil pack was just replaced along with transistor, heres what i think might be the problem

    1. not enough grounds on the car

    2. random bad sensor somewhere

    3. (? for lee) did the guy that had this car install and aftermarket pump? i dont see any signs of install but its acting like it

Sounds alot like your MAF is disconnected.. Check the connection to your MAF.. Trace it all the way back.. Did you or do you have an SAFC? Make sure the connection is good through your safc and make sure the SAFC is up and running.. If you removed your SAFC remember to reconnect the signal wire coming from your maf at the ECU..

I had a VERY similiar problem with one of my cars when i got it..

Idle was erratic.. Throttle response was stupid sluggish and it would stumble hard around 2-3k then it would rev past that seemingly sluggish but OK.. After a little checking i noticed that there were tails hanging off the wires to my ecu that were left over from an SAFC that had been removed.. The connection to the MAF goes thru the safc so when you remove it the line is cut. I reconnected that wire at the ECU and it ran perfectly..

It will run with a default "safe" PIG rich fuel map if your MAF is disconnected.

anywho, to give closure to those of you who might have cared for just a moment, it WAS the coilpack, i changed it out for the old one in a desperate attempt to fix the car and voila!

car pulls like a raped ape @12 psi now :D
