    Default Grindin..

    There is like a grinding/clanking noises comming from my motor.. any idea what it could be? Started happening when I was commin home last night. I didn't get on it at all going to the meet or comming home from it.. so I dunno whats up..

    check your crank pulley.

    Yeah.. it might be comming from down there. Hopefully its just the the crank sensor just gettin chewed up. I'll prolly call in sick for work tomorrow and pull everything apart.

    Lol, uhh, better hope it's not, unless you have another motor ready.

    BTW, I saw a car similar to yours following me on Laguna in Elk Grove about a week ago at about 5pm. That you? I was in a silver 2gb gsx.

    Im crusin down laguna all the time, i think i may have seen you once or twice.. but uhh my car dosnt look much like that one.

    Not sure.. It might have been.. I live right next to elk grove, off of Calvine/Vintage Park.

    I'm betting its your harmonic balancer seperating. Get that replaced as soon as you can, as it will eat at your timing and balance shaft belts before it will get to your crank sensor. Both bad news.

    Yeah.. I was gonna do that and all my timing/water pump this weekend. I don't drive it since I have a daily anyways, so it can wait till then

    Well.. I noticed today that the timing belt.. on the left side is starting to get worn away.. or chewed is what it looks like.. it goes over the entire span of the belt. Sooo.. looks like I'll have to rip everything apart when I get all the parts together..
