    Default FP2 Cams!

    Love em!

Vac at a 800rpm idle went from 20-21 down to 18-19. Idle isn't lumpy or inconsistant at all, I can't tell there's even aftermarket cams in there.

Mid range is a little more sluggish but not bad at all. It's noticable but nothing to frown about. Once you get into even just a few pounds of boost, the sluggish feeling is long gone.

Spool and WOT feel decent. I'm only running 10psi right now since today was the first time I've started it in a month but after a few days of making sure everything is running well, I'll get back up into the 20s and see how much airflow I can get out of this little evo3. I'll follow up later, I know most people worry about idle and mid range so I thought I'd give my .02 on that. I was expecting a lot worse but I'm very happy with them so far.

Your vac was 20-21?..... Mine is only at 15. Think I might have a leak? I need to do a leak check.

nice, not so much worried about the lumy idle,in fact i kinda like that, but my main concerns would be can they pass smog?I'm not a fan of taking isht appart if i don't have to.

    Played around a little more...

I also swapped to a tubular manifold, 1G head and manifold, and bullseye turbine housing when I installed the FP2s but WOT is like a different car. I find myself not wanting to shift anywhere near the stock red line  It just keeps on going. Still only running low boost (12psi) and untuned but at 12psi now, it feels like an untuned 18-20psi run used to before the swap. I predict good things this week when I turn up that MBC. I also installed a GM 3bar map sensor so I can log boost on DSMlink so I'll post some psi and lbs/min logs this weekend.

Ah, and vac has changed a little bit. At an 800 idle, vac is more like 16-18 and the idle has a hint of lump to it. I like it though :P
