Thread: OBX=P.O.S.

Damn OBX crap!!!!

I thought I would save a little on their O2 dump housing for my 240 and the thing does not fit whatsoever, it does not bolt up and it hits the steering shaft!

I called them up and the sales guy stated they were designed for RH drive cars!!! WTF how many RH drive 240's are there here in the States!!
Oh and he said with the S14 you have to dent it a little and with the s13 you have to dent it a little more!! WHATTTTT!!!

I should have just built the thing myself..but for $80 I guess you get what you pay for...OH WELL

I thought that went without saying. I only trust OBX on something they can't foul up on. Like a sprark plug cover or something. I had there crappy intake for my 2000 galant and went through 2 intake manifolds due to crappy engineering. I'm that guy that had to keep having you guys ship em to vallejo. No more OBX for me. 80 dollar intake ='d 240 dollars worth of intake manifolds and 600 dollars labor.......I could have got a whole new head for that price.

Yea, I lost out on alot of head spending too much time at the shop the other night messing with that damn thing!

You should have told the OBX guy that if it doesn't fit then You'll just give him a couple taps on the head with a mallet
