I talked to cliff...cool guy, knows his shit. He told me to take it to his old shop...Comptech. He said he occasionally still works on stuff over there but due to his schedule it would be better to go thru them. I called Comptech 2x a day everyday last week without an answer or returned call.

I asked him what he thought about Dels and he said "Dont even think about it"...eeek

So I'm back at step one....

I just want this crap in the shop! Is that so hard to ask for!
The 2.4 is done....Now just need to tune the shit out of it

Comptech is located about a block and a half from my work. I've been there. They do good work. The thing is, you really need to just show up with your schitt and talk to them there. I don't know if their receptionist is just retarded, or if they even have one anymore, but this time of year they're pretty busy though, lots of face stuff going on, and they build indy car motors and such.

I talked to john (main machine shop guy) today and gave him the general idea of what I want done. Not as overly priced as I thought it would be. He was out of the shop all last week so that's why I couldn't get ahold of him I guess. I'll talk to him tomorrow for the final details and probably bring the whole engine down there wednesday. We'll see...

last time i talked to the guys over at comtech i was told that they didn't have the indy contract anymore. maybe something changed since then. this was like 2 years ago.
