It was really easy to install, since I used to work/install for well known shops. The wires all come at a good length, the valet switch is built nicely and doesn't look like a chrome switch, typical of other alarms. You can conceal the valet switch a lot better then with other switches from other companies. The controller is VERY user friendly. It comes with a nice antenna with a long cable for it so you can mount it wherever you want.
The remote start on it works flawlessly. You can set it to start based off a signal from your injector, coil, tachometer, engine voltage, or just a set amount of time, like .5 of a second, .7 of a second, etc....If someone jumps in while the remote start is running and they open the door or step on the brake pedal, the vehicle shuts off.
The turbo timer works nicelly, with many options.
You can set the remote start to turn on at the same time, without you turning it on yourself.
My friends truck is a 2004 f-150 which has a PATS(passive arming transponder system) which is a security system from Ford to kill the ignition and fuel pump. I also purchased a PATS bypass module and the alarm worked flawlessly with it.
My friend was very happy with it after I installed it.
I give this alarm a 10/10 for the easy of use, price, user-friendlyness, layout, and great performace.
