    Default Big T-28 is in!

Got my Slowboy Big T-28 installed with SS oil feed line yesterday. So far I am pleased with the results. I have a few basic bolt ons, none of them exhaust or clutch so the spool is slower than I expected and my clutch just feels like it wants out of this relationship. As I was on my first decent drive with the turbo in today, I got on it and threw a code. The CEL came on and the car was sputtering BAD. I limped it home and as I was pulling into the garage I hear a ticking noise. I pop the hood and one of my spark plug wires came off from the coil pack... I put it back on and restarted the car, but the CEL is still on. The turbo rocks, but I will NEVER buy another bosch product again. This is the second set of plugs that have crapped out on me in the last month. /RANT The turbo is cool I just need some more mods to make the most out of it, and the next thing is clutch, because I just cant see the stocker lasting much longer. BTW a big thanks to Lee for the breaker bar the help... I guess Tom helped too...

I would say that with no mods they are about the same. Add clutch, exhaust and some fuel and it would be a whole other story. I can feel the turbo pull, but I can also feel the stock clutch's inability to hold the power.. actually, it felt that way with the T-25 at 14 psi. lol

For the record Tom cant even remove the negative from his battery without destroying sockets and strut bars. This time he had a nice view from the seat as he ate famous stars.

the taking apart isn't a problem,it's the putting back together where one shines :D

i disagree.. taking it apart is always the most time consuming.. the new parts are all clean and new and always fit like a gem.. the old ones are always a pain to get off...

very rarely do new parts fit good without little modification.

plus sometimes when you put shit back together(especially new engines and such) have fun remembering where everything went.
