Thread: upgrade path setup questions?

Ok my ideal whp is 275-300 whp with as litle tuning as posible.i will be getting a 2.5" bushur racing exhaust and i was thinking about a 190lph denso fuel pump.I know i will need an upgrated turbo and supporting mods.but 1st things first. Do you guys think this fuel pump can flow enough fuel to reach my target hp?

i think the 190lph is rated somewhere around 400-500 hp capable. at least that is what i was told.

Whats wrong with a cheaper Wail-bro 190?? Can't stand a screetching banshee in the back of your car? Lol. 190 is plenter for only 300awhp. If you get that Evo16g you have in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if you passed the 300 mark with all the proper mods. Plus, a 190 is easier to tune out for smog :)

thanks for the info,and no ican't stand the loud ass ford fuel pump.A friend of mine had one of those and it sounds like a stock pump about to go.how much do the supra and 3000 gt pumps flow?

I have the Walbro 190 and its not to loud. definately noticeable but its not like the 255

i personally don't think they're that loud. i don't even notice the 255

well maybe one of you guys can take me around the block in your rides to see how loud it is.So i can hear the WAL-BRO whats that noise?pump.peace out.

Catch me at the meet and I'll turn on the pump with DSMLink with the engine off so you can really tell how loud it is lol. The pump alone sounds like the cars running :P
