Thread: intake recomendations

i have no idea.. ive never installed one before.. this is my first turbo dsm... well i had a 1g talon awd turbo but i didnt have it that long and just drove it around town.. but this is my first time doin anything to a car... i read that the 1g is the way to go cause it doesnt take any kind of mods to get it on there...

if you have a 2g DSM and you want to go with a 1g CBV, then you'll need an upgraded Upper intercooler pipe that is flanged for a 1g CBV.
if you want to keep your stock IC pipe for whatever reason, the only choice is to find an adapter that will let it bolt in there like the greddy does. but it's not recommended due to the restrictive upper pipe.
