Thread: TSI question

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 1995 Eagle talon TSI AWD and I fixed the problem it had with the suspension, but it just doesnt seem to be running correctly. It seems like it is not getting full boost, but I am not very experienced with these cars or cars to much in general. I would really love to know these cars better, but I just need a little "guidance". If anyone is pretty good with these cars please let me know if we could maybe meet up or something and take a look at it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yea I am in the roseville citrus heights area. the guy told me it has a BIG 16 g, which it does look like it really does have one. I mean it has the J pipe and the dual fins in the turbo. Just dont know if it is real or not. It also has a 1st gen HKS SSQV blow off vavle that was vented, but I recirculated it for the cars health. Also It has an apexi exhaust with downpipe. Just to make clear I am not begging for free mechanics. I am just saying it would be cool to kick back with a fellow DSM'er and learn a little more about these cars as well as what my car may or may not be doing.

Also to let people know I have had an RS and a GST, but they were both low mileage and major maintenece free vehicles I just did a few bolt on mods, so I am not completly unfamiliar with the car. I picked up this TSI for 1000 bucks with some messsed up suspension and I am now trying to get it to run right. I am going to do plugs wires and ALL fluids and filters, compression test and a few other things. Look forward to meeting with anyone to either chill or go on a run ( when I get the car running of course)
