    Default Replace Oil Pump?

    How often do these need to be replaced?

    I have a decent oil leak coming from the front case area. I'm going to be doing the timing belt and water pump, as well as pulling the head to put in a cometic head gasket and arp's. I was just planning on pulling the oil pump and replacing the gaskets....Should I just replace the entire pump while I have it apart?

    BTW - The car is a 2g with 158k on the odo

    It would be a good idea to pull and reseal the entire engine,

    and YES replace the pump with a FACTORY Mitsu pump, not a topline piece of junk
