    Default STARTER VS. FLYWHEEL

Ok, there is a problem. I put my 7 bolt 95 GST together from scratch. I'm done, I'm able to start the car but ...seems like starter doesn't fit my flywheel. The flywheel is legit, standard 110 teeth. Problem begins when I turn ignition on, starter works but teeth of the starter get stuck in the flywheel.
I thought that maybe my starter is wrong, did some research, all starters I found were the same.
    Any ideas?
I know that AWD flywheel is smaller
Is there any difference between starter from 1st and 2nd gen?
