    Default Boost Leak Testing?

Okay, a buddy of mine has a turbo car with some boost problems. I told him he needed to build a boost leak tester and the first question he had was, how do you keep the boost in? Is there something that you put on the exhaust? I mean, I know that turbo's don't like overlap, but I'm sure there's some... wouldn't the air just bleed right out?
    Mods:

    Walboro 255/PTE 680cc injectors
    FMIC/14b turbo
    3" GM MAF with translator
    Stainless brake and clutch lines
eibach springs, 2" drop, camber kit

The Valves. That's what I meant... the air pressurizes into the intake, and then hits the valves, and bleeds right out into the exhaust.

If you put it to TDC all the valves should be closed. Also I did a boost leak test its doesnt leak out that you can hear it right away if you have a leak in the IC pipes or Manifold. Also you should have a boost gauge cuz to much pressure isnt good. Something around 20psi is good.

Just manually set the motor to TDC..

Then also make sure to clamp the vacuum lines to the egr cause pressure differentials can cause it to lift off its seat under weird circumstances..
