Thread: hey guys

hey i was finally able to register here thanks to 1BADTSi, been trying to register for about a month lol. I just wanted to post some pics of my ride and say whats up to everyone. I had it lowered 2.5" but took off those springs cuz it was too bouncy of a ride and put Tein springs on and its at normal height again but rides real nice.

I plan on painting the car in about 2 weeks and putting a Greddy BOV and exhaust on it within 2 or 3 weeks. Im thinking of putting an upgrade turbo in it, one of my friends from florida has a good hook up and gets about 50% on most parts so im going to see what i can work out for my car. But, i havent touched the engine because it runs strong as it is right now and pulls on alot of cars. I cant wait to get my car painted, i will post pics of it once its all completed :)

Oh... one suggestion, dont ever go to Jiffy Lube for a damn oil change. I took my car to those bastards when i had my car lowered 2.5" and had no leaks or problems with the engine and then they tell me i have an oil leak and transmission fluid leak.... that night i got my oil change from them, my car started having leaks.. who knows what they broke but i will never go there again!! and hope you guys dont either! Im getting this fixed hopefully this weekend.

i see the sac state parking permit! hows your spring break going? you know they're gonna hold that faculty strike on april 11 and 12.

FYI, everyone has the right to do what they want with their car, but the cosmetic stuff outside and inside your car is going to be under plenty of scrutiny by many members of this board. just letting you know what you might expect, most people on here are very nice though and are always willing to answer questions.

Yeah i do go to sac state. you go there too? Yeah i had a feeling they would be going on strike. Its only going to be for 2 days? I wish it was longer haha.

I have only done cosmetic stuff inside and outside of the car because its quick as it is stock and if i was to do all the mods on my engine it would just get me in more trouble then one could imagine. Lets just say i get pulled over at least once a month, mostly for driving to fast (last thanksgiving i got caught going 95 in a 40 and so i tried running cuz i knew the neighborhood like the back of my hand, and well they had backup on just about every street because it was thanksgiving night... so they caught me :( ) I plan on doing some mods but nothing crazy like some cars on here because im going for more show and just a little bit of speed so i dont kill myself or get in more trouble. But people can hate on the car if they want, but i like it and to see what it was like when i first bought and now makes me feel good, just cant wait til its painted.. It gets painted in the middle of April. 8)
