Going to look at a 1G Talon AWD

Hey, i'm going to go check out a '90 Talon AWD today or tomorrow, obviously it seems like a good deal. What things should I be looking for that are problematic? Car is stock, 2nd owner, about 130k. problem areas? typical rust areas? (it's a CA car but, you never know), common quirky things that break?

Any other info would be awesome, thanks!

Rust is the least of your worries, if it is stock and it passes smog buy it.

make sure it's clean. No vibrations, Idles good. then you know, the regular stuff, check the oil, coolant, blah,blah. Make sure all the little buttons work, rear defroster etc, etc,. I don't know how much he's selling it for but a 1g,awd, stock and like ol dirty said, passes smog, I'd jump on it.

crank the wheel all the way to the left and go in reverse. if you hear noise, the transfer case is shot.

Make sure to start it cold and look for blue smoke. If they'll let you do a compression test, do it.
