Default so my gas pedal is stuck

didnt happen while i was driving, but i backed out of my driveway to take a drive down the street and my gas pedal was stiff. couldnt move it at all, its midnight so i couldnt see anything so i had to push my car back up my driveway, and its not a flat driveway either.
good thing i work out or else my car would be sitting outside right now

take off your intake pipe and unbolt your throttle body. spray it out with some TB cleaner and wipe it out really good.
check your throttle cable too to make sure it's properly set and adjusted.

pull up on your gas pedal to unstick it.

so i think its the cable, i looked at the pulley thing and it wont move at all, but when i disconnect the throttle cable the pedal moves freely, and when i connect it back, its stiff again.
buttt i have absolutely no clue how to fix it. i suck at not being car smart

if the pedal moves when you disconnect the cable from the TB that means the cable is moving freely. take the cable off and see if you can manually open the TB, if not then do as euroeclipse said.

my tb cable is currently disconnected right now, and yes i can open the tb while the cable is off. the little rubber piece came off the cable so im thinking that might be the problem

ok easy way to check. grab the cable close to the sheath and see if you can move it in and out. if it doesn't move by hand you have a problem with your cable.

Since you tb moves freely w/o the cable it is probably something to do with your cruz control box,

the cables are fairly easy to unplug from it, I would unplug them one at a time and see how freely everything moves seperately.

If it is you CC you may just want to eliminate it and get a non cc throttle cable, it would be cheaper and less clutter under the hood.

so now you know its not the tb, the pedal, the cable from the pedal to the cc, now see if its the cable from the cc to the tb, if that cable is ok then you know the cc unit is seized, so replace it or get a non cc throttle cable.
