where do these wires go?

i was having a problem with the lights in my car, so i started to look at the wires behind my stereo, and i ran into some wires that werent connected to anything. one of them is white with a black stripe, and the other is black with a yellow stripe. are they supposed to be connected to anything, if so, what? that site says that those wires are the dimmer and the antenna trigger wires... they were wired into the oem stereo, but i dont have anything like that on my JVC deck. what should i do with them?

cut the open ends off and apply electrical tape to ends so you get no shorts, then ride off into the sunset

i guess one of the wires was grounding out, because after i taped off the wires, all of the lights work now. thanks for the help

The dimmer wire was blowing your running lights fuse. Makes perfect sense. Wiring is a pain.
