it's going to affect the electrical integrity of the car too much. the battery and alternator will be working double time with that large of an amp.
besides... an underdrive pulley is smaller than oem... if you're belt is coming off, why go smaller? i'd check to see if everything is torqued down properly and adjust the tensioner.

ive taken it to shops in the past so they could put it on for me and it still comes off
they more than likely are not doing it correctly. stick with an OEM belt from Mitsu and have a quality/reputable shop like Jonathan's Garage and Bar and Grill (haha, you knew it was coming) put it on for you.

yeah i took it to the shop yesterday and they are checking out everything. hopefully they are doing it right, i told them my coolant was leaking and they said it was something that cost a lot but i couldnt hear. if i wasnt so busy with work id rather try to do it myself
oh btw do you guys have any in stock at m&s. i need another tensioner pulley too. lol
We don't have any balancers in stock at this moment, I will check one of the yards down the street.
What happened to the tensioner??

i just called the shop and they said the harmonic balancer is just fine. but they are gonnna do a test drive and go over 5000 rpms. they said the thermostat on the head or block was cracked on the front and back.
the bolt broke off again on the tensioner.
