    Default on a seized motor

i was talking to this mechanic yesterday, he works at stage 6 building race cars and stuff but he said something about putting mystery oil on the oil rings or something like that. he said if you let it sit for a couple days itll start right up. is that true?

My dad threw some of that unsieze stuff in an old model A and a Studdie truck/ he restored that were sitting in a barn in Yuba city. It actually worked.

It has to be seized from aging or what not and not by damage for it to work. But even then he rebuilt it.

I believe it's called Marvel Mystery Oil or some thing... it's a spray can like WD-40 comes in, but much more of a penetrant/lubricant than WD (which is a good penetrant, but is a terrible lubricant) another solution is a little tranny fluid in the cylinders... but if you ran out of oil, your bearings are prolly done, so you might as well just give me your car so I can rape it for parts and get mine running :-D

prolly nothin I can get off another car. Most of the parts I need now are new items, like a timing belt and water pump and tensioner and such. If you have AWD after cat exhaust, I could use that, a j-pipe for a 2g fmic, maybe a nice AFPR and DSMLink... otherwise it's sorta just waiting for me to work on it, and get the intercooler pipes welded (there's no way the rubber couplers are going to cut it) and start tuning...
