Default how do i wire the halos for my new projector headlights?

yeah so i installed some nice black/clear/white halo projector headlights (not the ricy chrome or blue lens ones), except they didnt come with any instructions so i was able to get everything done except the halos because i didnt know where to wire them? or how -do i need to solder them?

I'll put pics up in a few days, so check out my car's unofficial page of progress and projects for N/A's, aka "New windshield and big brakes..." post in the General DSM Tech section.

    Thanks for any help.

When i had mine, (i installed them a looooooooonnnnnnnnggggg time ago) i think i remember putting the halos on the corner signal lamps that way you turn on just the corner lamps and the halos came on too. When Mine came i remember them being a PITA because there were no instructions and the sockets didnt match, you have to either buy a conversion kit or do some splicing/soldering. I was impatient and didnt want to wait for the kit so i spliced. Got alot of compliments on them though, just never got a pic of them while they were on. :x

huh. well i think i'll do what you did and put the halos on the turn signals cuz that way they should flash when i turn my alarm on/off too and i like that idea. :)

i'll get to that tomorrow...and the headlights were a PITA...i had no instructions too. i was just kinda like, 'oh so i take off the front bumper and the support and this bolt and...wtf it still wont come off. oh there it is, that bolt in the nearly impossible to reach place. " lol. i was expecting the job to take like an hour, but it took closer to 3...but some bolts on the bottom of my bumper were literally rubbed down to nothing. thats what i get for having a lowered car and going over speed bumps and into drive ways.

I would wire them off of the side marker lights, unless you want them to blink then wire them to the turn signals

    Yea 2g headlights are fun!!!

If i remember correctly there were three wires going to the corner lamps, one was black so that was easy to match up, the other two i went back and forth on because i didnt want mine to blink i just wanted them to stay on, forgot which wire it was though.

i connected the power wire for the halos to the same power wire i used for my interior accessories(gauges, etc) which was the wire coming off the cigarette lighter light. the two black wires, i just grounded them to any ground point that was close enough. that way when you just had the accessory/parking lights on, they would come on as well.

yeah im having a real b*tch with this wiring deal. 3 of the 4 wires we were going to connect the halos to were accidentally cut through all the way (dont ask how it happened), and so now my sidemarkers and halos are disconnected from everything. we tried soldering all the wires together but it doesnt hold for some reason and we're basically out of wire to work with, so we need more wire attached and stuff, but im not personally all that familiar with wiring and re-wiring. and after about 5 and a half hours of trying to make it work, i'm frustrated as hell. so i was wondering if there are any wire gurus who could help me get this done once and for all?? the last day im in town is tomorrow, and if tomorrow is no good for you, just pm me and hopefully we can work something out after my cross country trip (i should be back around July 9th). So thanks to anyone who can help me out.
