    Default No humming noise from fuel pump?

    Hey everyone I just installed a walbro 190 fuel pump in my 97 GSX, the car recently had a 255 pump rewired. I noticed the fuel pump never hums, even with the new pump it does not hum at all. The pump should be working since my car runs fine, only thing that looks sketchy in the wiring is the ground, It is attached to the seat belt mount. I also figured out that my fuel sender unit is missing that will explain the faulty gas readings. If anyone can tell me if this is normal, or what I should do to fix it I would appreciate it.

    The 190 is a super quiet pump, no noise is good noise, just as long as it has good pressure

    Ok cool, hey Jon do you guys have any fuel sender units at M&S for a 97 GSX? I need one badly my guage only reads 1/4 mark at full tank, lemme know. Thanks

    Yea nothing right now on that GSX sender, we can't keep that 2g GSX stuff in stock

    No noise? dont know why my 255 was annoying it was so loud.

    255's make a lot of noise

    the 190 is a stock pump from a 3000gt VR-4

    If you get a Cosmo 400 pump its quiet also, but it is also $400
