    Default Recommend DSMLink Settings Yo

Hey, I have my ECU ready to go so I wanted some advice on what settings to get.

    Injectors:
I will be most likely getting PTE880's in the very near future but for now I am running the stock injectors. Should I have them set it for the 880's and then just adjust it for stock myself until I get the 880's? OR do it the other way around? If I had it set for the 880's all I would have to do is set all the Fuel settings back to 0 on the sliders and such?

    Idle:
Thinking of going with 900-950 because my car shakes like a bitch at the stock idle thanks to the motor mounts. I could always just get stock and set it later though right?

    Launch:
Dunno bout this one. FWD and lightened flywheel...so whatever you guys think would be best.

    Rev Limt:
Leave this stock or go higher? Stock block/head.

    CAS:
Need to invert cam signal for a 97?

    Thanks guys.

I can get the PTE 880's for like 260 off ebay. I don't think I will need more than that for the EvoIII...or will I? You love the shaking huh? lol. Mine stops shaking if I rev it up to around 900 so thats why I'm thinking of changing the idle.

    You said it though.

    "FWD is pretty much useless."

    lol

Hell i would of went with the 1600cc FICs for 240.00 having DSMlink is awesome I was at 70% IDC with my Evo16g @ 23psi thats with 950s.

Increasing the idle just gonna go threw a tad more gas, up to you though.

Holy crap....so the 1600cc sized injectors aren't gonna cause me any problems right? 1600cc should be as easy to compensate and setup as the 880's with dsmlink?

there really isnt much to recommend.

you set the global and dead time based on injectors(like my padawan THCue has said). then from there you can tune any number of ways. if you have dsmlink, you should also have access to the dsmlink.com/forums in which its time to "read up sucka!"

though 98spyderT is the one who helped me along in my tuning, along with TWdorris on the dsmlink forums.
