i've been reading some tech articles here at work (i'm stuck here for a while...) and came across a 4 bolt rear end swap article. but it doesn't say what gen car it was done on.
has anybody heard of someone swapping to a 4 bolt rear in their 2g?

92-99 are already 4-bolts. thus why the swap is only for the 90-91 guys with 3-bolt rears.
ahh i see. yea when i got home i was looking in my shop manual.
apparently the 2g rear is pretty nice.
anybody know who makes some beefy axles? i'd rather not snap one at the track and be assed out having to replace it with stock and keep running into that problem.

They 2g axles are rather strong though you should be well into the 11's before you start to run into breakage
if you break them you have to get a pair of chromoly shafts from DSS
then you are bullet proof
or have the stock ones cryo treated!! that works wonders for the money!!
