    Default AWD NOOB.... hehe me...

    ok, this is my first go at awd'in it, any way

    what fluid to i use for the tranfer case and rear diff?

    i read something about "shock proof" but i dont know whats what, please help :?

    i personally use Royal Purple fluids all around. i just like the way it feels when i drive with that.

    but which ones do i use for the rear diff and tc?

    Royal Purple is better for getting the whole hand in... wait...

    I think he means in his car.

    I dont have the weights etc off hand. I'm sure a search on T00ners will give you 700 opinions half of which will kill your car.

    I'm sure Lee or No7 will be by soon to tell ya what weights are good :)

    RedLine heavy weight shock proof oil, its like 145w90,

    and you don't need LSD fluid in your rear diff, the Viscous unit is sealed.
    Just make sure its a hypoid gear type fluid,

    You can use all the same fluid in your trans, t case and rear diff, but syncroshift in your t/case and rear diff is a little over kill, and costly.

    ok, i have penzoil syncromesh waiting for me to be done swapping the motor, so ill just swap the diff and tc with the shock proof stuff, sbr has it!
