Using rotary with soft dimpled green pad and Optimum CompoundII at around 1,800rpm which is giving me a nice cut in a relatively short time with no micromarring/holograming. Going over it with a soft dimpled red pad and Optimum PolishII and kicking it up to around 2,200rpm to jewel the paint a bit. some areas I am not finished with due to experimentation with pads/speed combo's. I really like this soft green pad and compound at a moderate speed and following it up with polish if necessary. Optimum Compound isnt very abrasive (as per http://www.auto-geek.net/charts/wax-...art-master.htm) so im not too worried about speed being harmful at this point. Using a heavier cut pad and OP compound at a lower speed (1500 max) was leaving micromarring/holograming and wasnt cutting as well as you would think.
Going to also do wheels/wheel wells and engine bay, RaggTopp the top for the winter, and do a full interior detail. Hopefully also take some nice pics once its all done.
