    Default 68hta

    My turbo choice..

    The FP 68HTA..

It starts its life as an EVOIII 16g..

FP slaps in a gimungous cnc'd billet compressor wheel that in this combo is rated to 47 lbs/min..

The turbo can handle ridiculous p/r's and really comes alive in the high boost territory, while maintaining 16g like spool characteristics thanks to modern compressor wheel tech..

Basically a great street-gt30r killer turbo..

Here is a recent dyno chart from a dude running nearly identical mods to mine on e85 with the 68HTA (I have slightly bigger injectors and slightly bigger exhaust).. Boost around 27.5 PSI

My goal for turbo selection was the fastest spooling (on a 2.0) 400 WHP capable turbo I could find.. I think this is pretty much it..

*EDIT!! The below dyno run was on a STOCK TMIC.. Hahahahaha.. e85 rules..

Nope.. not at all.. Turblo? whats that? Is it a thing to make your car go fast and furious?

New toys in the mail today.. Still waiting on new snail.. FP says they will build it next week :(

Got a new TMIC for flow reasons.. Not really intercooling reasons.. Efficient intercooling isnt realy all that critical on e85 muahah... I didn't really feel like jamming the 10 miles of piping into my car required for a fmic.. Not to mention the loss of the structural front bumper..

This design pretty much uses every last cubic millimeter of space and then some.... Ive had FMIC's with smaller cores

So the new turbo is being built right this very second.. Should ship today.

So I took a ?Before? Video to use as a reference..

    19t turbo @ 22 psi.

Roll on 1st-bottom of 4th.. Lugged pretty badly into second.. bounced off the limiter in first when it caught traction..

Normally the car just breaks traction again in second.. this might have netted a slightly better result.. lol..

Should have another 100 hp or so next week.. Then ill shoot an ?after? video..

    MUAHAHAHA.. I love e85..

My new turbo is supposed to be delivered today, except I have to sign for it and I'm at work. Shitty..

I logged a 0-60 mph run today though via gps. 4.12 seconds with big big big wheelspin in first and second.. Launching this thing off the LC is ruthless on this little turbo.. I hope the bigger turbo is a little less violent on the off-on boost transition.. maybe give the tires a chance to hook a little.
