    Default Some random videos..

What I do for fun now.. This is just an easy everyday pace.. Most of these folks are AFM racers.. We just like to take it easy on the street.. My throttle side bar end fell off about half way through this video so I dropped off the pace...

And one of the scooby shredding it up!

Thankie.. That was just an easy street pace.. Actually kinda slow for WS.. Just sorta cruising between the corners.. I think I was single gear'ing it that day... Always atgatt.. Crashing is absolutely certain.. Preferably at the track, but it can happen anywhere.. Despite looking funny in full gear on a sprotbile..

    I'm 6'7" lol..

You start in Georgetown on 193, or 50 to icehouse? Looks like fun. I gotta get me some more gear so I can start riding seriously (been working on a '93 Ninja ZX7 project for a while, seems like I got all the bugs out of it finally, might be able to ride more than a few blocks). Got a helmet and boots, and an '80s era leather bike jacket. Not good enough.

Right on.. Yah - definitely grab some full gear..

We meet in Roseville and head out to Georgetown. So we hit WS from Georgetown. Sometimes we will park a trailer overnight at Stumpy (for gas) and just run laps up and back WS.

We usually skip Icehouse.. Too many rock crawlers and wheelers plugging up our path..

Right now we are back in Berryessa though for the winter.. Come next spring we will be back out at WS..

That's cool. I grew up in Garden Valley/Georgetown, so whenever people talk about WS, it makes me a bit homesick. I like the trailer idea. You could set up camp at the lake and cruise all weekend. I've only been down Icehouse twice since they paved it 100%, but it makes sense all the crawlers would just take 50 to Icehouse to get to the rubicon 'stead of going through Georgetown.

I figure now's a good time to start shopping for leather. Definitely not going to skimp on safety gear, but a sale's always better than full retail.

Once you get some full gear you should start coming out with us.

The Kneeriders are a great group of folks and welcome riders of all skill levels.. I started riding with them a little over a year ago.. When I first started out I was your average jeans and jacket slow street rider...

Now I'm a track slut.. It's awesome how much you can progress with a solid group of mentors. A lot of them are AFM racers..
