and it drinks piss 91 octane! HAHA

And to the poster, not to bring your car down at all, but there are many 500-600rwhp cobras around now-a-days. I never even see them stock anymore.
there should be laws against buying a cobra and leaving it stock.

any internal work done on the 03/04 cobra? i know the 03/04 block can handle up to 500hp, and just under 14psi of bewst. i think nitrous and 19psi is going to be pushing it. hope you have a savings fund for a rebuild.

When it happens, it happens. it's still under warranty for another 70k miles. I'm also on my 2nd engine. first one blew due to a snapped timing chain on the right head. No worries. she'll hold at 19psi and a shot of nitrous. It's all in the tune.

btw, these blocks can handle a lot. Heat is what kills these things the most. Melted pistons from too much heat. Looking to upgrade the cooling system later this month or early next month. Heat Exchanger, bigger intercooler resevior, the cooling works basically. Lot of guys blow these motors up cause they run 19psi w/ 93 octane, get 600rwhp+, and blow it up. 100 octane should always be used with these cars above 17psi and/or with nitrous. Just my 2 cents. you may know more than I do. :)

Also kinda looking into this meth injection stuff.. kinda new to me, so I'll see how that goes.

We have one down here that is a black convertable with a kb. He has full suspension, full-exhaust, tune, now working on a th350-400 I am not sure which swap and he said it is 9's or bust for him. That thing is  . Not downing your car because that thing is sick and I would love to own one but I am just saying there is always something faster. You should check out need2speed.com they are based in Tampa and the "Tampa Stock" Cobra's are at over 500whp I think. And there are like 10 on that site that are just tampa stock. Everybody should check out that site.
I know the guy with the black convertible kb cobra.. his name is Dave, and he just ran a low 11 the other night on BFG drags. car weighs in at OVER 4200 lbs. He's cool. he's moving up here I think sometime next year.

I also know that "there is always someone faster". If you ever visit my local stang forum (http://sacstangs.com/vbb) you'll see our fastest car list which is time slip based. I'm well aware I'm not the fastest. Rarely will I run into a faster car than me on the street. Just the way sacramento is. A race worthy car always seems to be going to opposite direction, and when I do see a car that I want to race, they usually don't want to race me. Don't blame 'em.

N2S is one of my favorite sites via SVTPerformance. Havoc always puts a good show on for everyone else to see. Those guys are crazy, but they put some killer combos together and make it work. They have that one turbo RSX that mopped up a few cobras there. Pretty badass if you ask me.

Your idol the 600awhp+ EVO is getting together with some of the guys in Orlando this upcoming 24-26th. Hopefully we'll see a couple vids come out of that get together. Hopefully LTHL PSI (derek) will show 'em a thing or two.
