Default Z28s and Cobras oh my!

Not the new Cobras at least. The previous ones, the non-SC'ed ones. Ran into a red one the other night. I seem to attract all the Muffstangs.

Anywho, I raced against him with two other people in my car. The first run was at about 50mph. I dropped it into the wrong gear >< and he instantly got a jump on me. I caught back up and passed him at around 90mph. Ohhhhh! Damn did that feel good. He got pissed, came up along side of me and revved his engine. I shrugged and said what the hell so we did a run at 35ish mph. Big mistake. I put about 4 car lengths on him until 110. I'm not sure what mods he had other than a full exhaust.

The second kill was a red Z-28. Again, all I could tell he had done was an exhaust, pretty loud at that. I love running Z-28s so I was the one to instigate this race. I pulled alongside of him and noticed his window was slightly down so I let my bov catch his attention. We did a run at about 40mph. I shut down at about 115ish and put about 3 cars on him. A light ahead turns red and I know I'm doomed. ( I suck at launching. ) Him and his friend turn toward me and point at the light. I again say what the hell and decide to go for it. The light drops and yep, I bogged the hell outta my launch, at about 25mph he was about 2 cars ahead. By the time we were around 100 I was 2 cars ahead. Turbos are a work of art. :P As soon as that little oil spraying sm16g kicked in it was over for him.

That's all I have for now. Going to do a little bit more cruising tonight. According to my kills what HP do you guys think I'm at? 260ish?

Modlist : sm16g, jrc fmic, greddy type s, rre downpipe, apexi n1 exhaust, mbc @ 17psi, injen intake, apexi safc2, rre uicp/licp, walbro 190.

You're not hittin fuel cut anymore? That's good.

Nice kills, I love stompin on the noisey "muscle" cars, especially Z-28s cause they think they're untouchable to 4 cyl.

I'd guestimate 275ish if it's tuned nicely, if it's half asses, probably closer to 250whp. When are you gettin the injectors????

Funny you ask. I tried to put them in a few weeks ago, it was evening time. I hadn't put injectors in before. When I removed the fuel rail the restrictors fell out and I hadn't noticed. I seated the injectors and o-rings in without the restrictors and overtightened them. I damaged the end of them. Precision told me I can send them back in to get repaired. They're the 680s. So yea, whenever I get some more cash I'll be sending them back in. Stupid me. :P

I've had my GS-T for a year now and am at low 14s, maybe even high 13s with a good launch. I plan to shave a second off every year. :)
