I WAS GOING TO LUNCH AND MADE A RIGHT TURN ONTO LAGUNA BLVD, WHEN A SILVER ECLIPSE(MODEL 2000- UP) PULL RIGHT NEXT TO ME AND RAVEF HIS EGINE AT ME. I LOOK AT HIM AND WE CAME TO THE LIGHT. NOW I NORMALLY DON'T LIKE TO RUN A ECLIPSE BECAUSE I FEEL THAT WERE LIKE BROTHERS. DSM JUST DON'T RUN DSM, YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN. BUT HERE HE GO AGAIN, RAVEFING HIS ENGINE AT ME AGAIN. LIGHT TURN GREEN I'M STILL DRIVEING AT A NORMAL SPEED, IN MY MIND I WAS THINKING THAT IF HE RAVEF HIS ENGINE AT ME AT THE NEXT LIGHT, IT'S ON. AND SURE ENOUGH HE DID, I GIVE HIM A EAR FULL OF MY HKS BLOVE OF VALVE . LIGHT TURN GREEN, OFF WE GO. RIGHT FROM THE GET GO I TOOK HIM ABOUT ALMOST TWO CAR, SECOND AND THIRD GEAR I WAS AHEAD OF HIM BY A COUPLE OF CAR NOW. WHEN WE GOT TO THE NEXT LIGHT, I RAVEF ON HIM, AND HE JUST MADE A RIGHT TURN. THAT MY KILL..... TU

No no, don't feel bad, that 3rd gen doesn't have a true DSM powerplant...it's a bastard step-brother! Nice kill btw, musta made him want to give up after you launched on him.

i dont even like the design on the 3g... shouldve kept it the same bump and all ;)

good kill..... my bro has a 03 gts v6 ( v-tech like ), he has a cold air intake and exhaust. they pull good on first because of that v6 and of course im fwd so i dont really have traction but when i hit 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear, its bye bye time ( bus lenghts )

Good kill man.Yeah I don't hate on 3g's.Some of them are nice,they are definatly a downgrade from the previous models.They should of kept the hump on the 3g's,I mean cmon,thats the eclipse trademark.They should of also offered it in all wheel drive since it was already pig heavy,should of gone all out.If the 3g had came DOHC,TT,and All Wheel drive,people wouldn't hate on them so much.It would of continued on with a tradition,ya know.

nothing feels better than killing the 'new and improved' models.. Anyone kill a forth gen yet??? (263hp V6 ones) I cant wait to dust one of those
