Thread: New ZO6 Vette KILLED!!!!!!

FINALLY! got my chance
I was taking a check out to Co-Part to pay for a couple cars and as I got off on Watt headding south I see a blue z06 getting on 50 hedding north soo I jumped back on the freeway and chased him down, well I get up to him at about Sunrise still heading to Hazel, I pull up next to them two middle aged white guys in white dress shirts so I figure they are car sales man taking the vette out to lunch, I pull back yep "Folsom Lake Chevy" plates so I pase them for a second and the passenger looks over and starts laughing.....then he unrolled window like he was going to talk shit and he got a wierd look on his face he talks to the driver, he yells something I could not tell what he was saying but he starts doing the whole quick throttle jumps then I hear the tell tale engine rpm drop just before a down shift so I hammered into 4th and lit the tires going 70 and he did'nt go!! so he pulls up I guess seeing the car is more serious than they thought, so the passenger holds up three fingers then two....so I just roll on it in 4th and start leaving him not by much at first but after a few seconds I had about 10 car lengths on him and I shut it down at about 130

just due to the fact that they have never been in let alone driven a car like the new Z06 then in the same day they get smoked in it also! HAHAHA!

Not done with my 1g yet, to busy fixing other peoples stuff, hey it pays the bills........and then some!! HAHAHA

No the Rx-7 is about the only car that could touch a new z06 the 240.......no way in hell, the colt......no torque plus about 150 less hp, the awd would get me in font for about 2 gears then its over.

hey man- you have the red FD with the LS1? I think i saw you at the DB Tuned dyno day! Wasnt it like 535 horse and 580 ft/lbs. HAHA

Yep thats me,

I actually re-dynoed the car at another shop to compare numbers,
due to the fact that the torque number was a bit high for the combonation,
it still made 521hp and 514lbft on a dyna pack chassis dyno
guys on Torque central still don't believe the HP number
I just tell em' its all in the tune........BITCHES!

I was the guy with the green TSi there, posted crap numbers 150hp and 160 ft/lb (i was running pig rich) ,but im happy with my 1/4 mile times. Speaking of tuning... My car needs some help in the department- im trying to get my hands on a logger and safc, any tips on finding the logger for cheap? All i can find readily available are the 1g cables... and Congrats on those kickass numbers man!
