    Default GSX vs Z06

I have been wanting to go against one of these for a while now. I havent had a problem with regular vettes. As I am leaving work I see this black vette go by on Freeport blvd. I turn left and follow instead of turn right for home . I catch up to him at the stop light on Florin he is going straight (yes) except there is a car next to him, so I pull in behind him. License plate reads LITSUMUP so I am like yea this guy will probably want to go ( most vette owners are either old or dont want to drive fast). Light turns green we take off gradually, I see him keep checking his rear view mirror, no traffic in front of us so I shift to 3rd and pull into the fast lane, this is when I notice that nice little Z06 emblem on the side of the vette, as I get to the rear quarter panel of his car he punches it probably expecting to see me fade away in his rear view mirror. I drop the hammer as soon as I heard him stab it, I pull him half a car length so now I am dead even with him, he looks over and you should of seen the look on his face (priceless) he shakes his head up and down like damn wasnt expecting that. As we are now at about 100mph my tach is about 8k I shift to 4th and rap it up to about 120mph before hitting the brakes and slowing down. I only pulled him about a foot more before slowing down. We slow down to about 30mph and as we have the windows rolled down I start tapping my dashboard and say not bad for a Japanese car huh, he gives me the thumbs up and says "yea" I continue to rub it in and say not bad for 4 cylinders huh, and then I ask him "how much horsepower do those things have" he holds up 4 fingers. He turns left at the next light as I turn right with a big smile. I bet he is going to the vette shop and saying could you guys take a look at my car I dont think its running right. lol. Anyway I thought that was a good enough kill to share with everybody. I know it made my day. This is not the new Z06 cause I think they come with like 500hp. I guess I need to keep my eyes peeled for one of these (next on the list).

Awesome kill, I would have loved to see his face. What are your mods and everything?

Yeah, wondering the same thing. Mods, any track times or dyno numbers, who tuned it and where. Those new Z06s ain't no joke. Even if it was a C5 Z06, still quite impressive.

97 GSX 1g head, AEM EMS with T3T04E tuned by Road Race Engineering. I just got my car back about 2 weeks ago from Road Race. I had broke a valve spring so it was at the doctor. I had them install a wideband while it was there too. Lots of other bolt on mods but those are some of the main ones. I havent dynoed it and I dont go to the drags. I like the real track like Laguna, Sears and Thunderhill. Havent been in a while but plan on going in the near future.
