Thread: Why Heli-pads and swimming pools do not mix

So, I'm helping my dad with this exclusive house project in Los Lagos today:

My dad has an account with a realtor to prep the house swimming pools ready for showing and sale. With the Los Lagos homes, they need to be perfect because they're so anal up there. So, there are people in the main house doing.. whatever they are doing and we just finished the swimming pool. The water is all clean and clear and ready to swim! My dad goes inside to talk with the people inside and I'm hanging out by the truck. Just then, this Bel Jetranger helocopter flies closer to the house.. closer and then it becomes clear that he's going to land on the heli-pad on the property. As he gets closer the wind from the rotors blows up all the dry leaves and crap up in the air and back down into the pool! Doh! The people in the main house come out and get in the helo, off to San Francisco. That must be a nice commute? The helo spins up again and more crap in the pool! Double Doh! We just left, we're going back on Friday to prep the front fountain, we'll deal with the pool tomarro. :?

Make a note guys, if you buy a home with a helo pad, make sure it's away from the pool :)

man that sucks!!! do you guys get paid again for that screw up?? or is it a flat rate. that is a stupid design flaw.

I'll have to relocate my helo pad later next week :P
